Newington Masters Rowing Club
Newington Masters Rowing Club is based at the Newington College boatshed in Checkley Street Abbotsford. We have the the space and the opportunity for Newington old boys to:
Remember their schoolboy rowing days;
Reconnect with classmates and other old boys from different years; and
Row together as Newington Masters.
Importantly, NMRC also provides the opportunity for old boys with an interest in rowing to: get together; stay fit; have a yarn; and be social.
If you would like to find out more, please join us.

when do we row
Access to the boatshed at Huntleys Cove is unrestricted, which means Members are able to row at anytime of the day. For some of the our more competitive and inspired Members this means hitting the water before the sun comes up and for others it means having a leisurely mid-morning paddle. Despite the varying times and days that Members row, we typically come together every Sunday morning for a row followed by coffee at Hunters Hill.
Fleet
NMRC has a full compliment of rowing boats and members can develop their skills in sculling or sweep oar rowing in one of four single sculls, a double/pair, a quad/four, or an eight.
